CaloryStat is operated by Charmet, a sole trader established in France.
For the purposes of applicable data-protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Charmet is the data controller for the information described in this Privacy Policy.

2. What Data We Collect
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. When you choose to continue to another calculator, selected inputs may be included in the page URL solely to prefill the next calculator. Avoid sharing these links if they contain information you consider sensitive. We do not intentionally store calculator inputs in a user account or database.
We do not currently operate account creation, newsletters, or contact forms. If we add any of these features in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly and consent will be requested where required.
If you consent to analytics cookies, we automatically collect limited technical and usage data, as described below, such as approximate location at country or city level, device type, browser type, pages visited, referral source, and interactions with calculators.
3. Cookies and Analytics
With your consent, CaloryStat uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregated use of the Site, including pages visited, device and browser information, approximate location, referral source, and interactions with calculators.
We use Cookiebot CMP to collect and manage your cookie preferences. You can accept, reject, or change your choices at any time by using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Cookie consent choices are stored for the period configured in Cookiebot. You may withdraw or update your consent at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.
4. Affiliate Links and Third Parties
CaloryStat may include affiliate links to third-party websites, including Amazon.com. If you click one of these links, the relevant third party may collect information about your visit and may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies in accordance with its own privacy policy and cookie practices.
We do not control the privacy practices, cookies, technologies, product availability, or terms of third-party websites. Please review the applicable third party's privacy policy and terms before providing personal information or making a purchase.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / EU Users)

Because calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser and we do not maintain user accounts, we hold very little personal data. For questions about data processed by Google or Amazon after you visit their services, consult their privacy information directly. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe that your data-protection rights have been infringed, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
6. Data Retention and Security
Calculator inputs are not intentionally transmitted to or stored by us; they are processed in your browser. Where you provide consent, Google Analytics retains analytics data according to the retention settings configured for our GA4 property and Google's applicable policies.
We retain correspondence sent directly to us only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, or meet legal obligations. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Site, including HTTPS encryption, but no method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed at children under 13, or under the age at which they can independently consent to data processing in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address the request.
